Last night we watched the moon from 8:45-9:25 at our house, then we went down to to our friend’s.  We had a fire, and from there we watched the moon fully eclipse, turn orange, then amber and then start to un-eclipse.  It was so cool.

Today because our friend was sick we stayed home, and I did some research on: how the moon came to be, why it is red when it is a super moon, and myths around the super blood moon.

In the book of Joel it says this:

30 I will show wonders in the heavens
    and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
31 The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
